This photo was part of the "Gothic Splendor" story produced by Mr Douglas Little of D.L.& Co, for the now (unfortunately) defunct House and Garden magazine. For all you absinthe-o-philes out there, I had nothing to do with the "liberties" taken with respect to the absinthe ritual... (I know you're not supposed to light it, and the fountain ought to be filled with ice-water).
